My recent Final Fantasy XIV fashion endgame moment: my beautiful Viera got the hairstyle she’s always dreamed of having. 🤩

Gyr Abanian Plait was a runner up in a community hairstyle design contest back in 2015. All of the winners in that competition designed excellent hairstyles, but this one is so utterly beautiful and tends to look amazing on any female character. I’ve wanted it for Akale since I started playing FFXIV a couple of years back, and although the design is quite a few years old, it’s still my favourite in the entire game.

Being a sprout in FFXIV ten years into the game is a blessing and a curse. There is SO MUCH content to catch up on, and I want to do it all. It can be overwhelming at times (that’s an understatement). On the other hand, being a sprout means that a lot of the things veteran players see as older content is new and shiny to me – including the fashion. 😊
